GICOM Srl was established in 2012 by a team of experts who spent decades of their working life in the field of communication on board vessels of any kind, size and typology. The spirit that animates our work is based on professionalism and seriousness with an extreme attention to the needs of our customers.
After a year of start-up phase, mainly dedicated to the development of the system, improvement of hardware/software, acquisition of certificates and set-up of a world-wide sales network, GICOM officially launched on the market its system at the end of 2013.
The high technology adopted, certified by the major Classification Societies together and the high operational flexibility of the system have immediately gained the appreciation of world-wide Shipyards and Ship-Owners to the point that more than one hundreds contracts has been secured in 2014.
