Gicom successfully participated at NEVA 2015 Exhibition in Saint Petersburg (Russia) and Marintec 2015 Exhibition in Shanghai (China). During the events were signed key contracts as well as meetings with leading Shipowners and Shipyards have laid the foundations for future business opportunities.

- Gicom® has got certificate of registration for GICOM® mark under WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization)
- Gicom® Integrated System for Public Address, alarms and audio broadcasting has got Patent by MINISTERO dello SVILUPPO ECONOMICO – UFFICIO ITALIANO BREVETTI e MARCHI.
- Gicom has been awarded a major contract in the O&G market segment for the supply of a PA-GA system on a new Semisubmersible Drilling Unit.
- Gicom acquired Type Approval Certificate issued by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
- Gicom acquired Type Approval Certificate issued by the Registro Italiano Navale for its CCTV system suitable to monitor garage areas and doors on Ro-Ro-Pax ships.
- Gicom acquired the ATEX certifications for its own PA-GA access panels.
- Service Department has been implemented since end of 2015 and is now fully operative for refurbishment, service on board, system updating, spare part and any other Owner specific need.
- Gicom started the process to get Type Approval from Russian River Register.
